Steve Petroni Biography
In April 2006, Steve Petroni was appointed to the DLIA board to fill a board vacancy. Prior to that, he served as an alternate.
Steve
and his wife, Laurie, reside in Spokane and have been owners on the lake since
2002. Laurie serves on the DLIA
newsletter committee. The couple have two children.
Their son, Nicholas, is a senior at University of Nevada Las Vegas and
daughter, Lindsey, is a junior at Mead High School in Spokane.
Steve
and Laurie are natives of Butte, Montana and have lived in Spokane since
1994. Steve has a degree in Geological
Engineering and he currently works as an Operations Manager for Goodrich
Aerospace. Prior to that, he was an Exploration Manager in the mining industry
where he traveled extensively around the world evaluating gold deposits.
Steve
is an avid golfer, but golf takes a back seat to spending time at the lake once
the weather warms up. The Petroni family can be seen on the lake nearly every
weekend during the summer and on many winter weekends.
“We
feel blessed to have Diamond Lake out our front door, and there isn’t a day
that we don’t marvel at its beauty. The
reason I serve on the board is that I want to help preserve the lake’s
qualities that we enjoy so much.” Steve
said.
