Ralph Christiansen, DLIA Board Member
Currently I am the Secretary for the DLIA
Board. My wife Sandy and I have owned a
cabin on Diamond Lake for the last four years. We have three grown children. Two of them live in the Spokane
area and one in Rapid City,
South Dakota. We also have two grandchildren, one in Spokane and one in South
Dakota. We
moved to Washington from Nebraska about five years ago. When we moved here we were surprised that
lake access was extremely limited, generally to public boat launches. That provided the incentive for finding a
home with lake front property, not to mention a place to attract the kids and
grandkids. We looked at many different
lakes in Idaho and Washington
but we were really attracted to Diamond
Lake.
Our current home is the old Gump place on Terrace Ave. The Gump’s were the original home
owners. We were able to meet with Mrs.
Gump and obtained a photo history or our cabin from 1948 when they starting
building it. We really enjoy our time on
the lake and plan on living there full time this summer.
As a DLIA Board member I am available for any
comments, questions or information on the DLIA.
If there is any thing that I could do to help, please give me a call.
