Diamond Lake Fish Pen Appreciation

The
2006-2007 Fish Pen project released the fish on April 14, 2007. Many volunteers
contributed to the success of this project. The names of the volunteers are as
follows:
Don
Boisen, Geri and Mark Cauchy, Dale Conner, Bob Dickerson, Dick Fanning,
Dave Floyd, Bob Graham, Dee and Gerry Hargitt, Karolyn and Bill Lee,
Leroy Leland, Don Lowery, Bob McGowan, Connie and Curt Miller, Paul Moore, Bev
and Jerry Numbers, John Savage, Jerry Senn, Val and Norm Urbat, Vern
VandeVanter, Tom Vaughn, Jack Wiley and Mark Zabawa.
The
project manager is Bob Quaintance. He would like to thank all of the above
volunteers and a special thank you to Jean Oxrieder for coordinating the
volunteers and for setting up the schedule.
Another
special thanks to Ron Quaintance for helping with the clean up of the fish net,
pen and supplies. Thanks to John Hernandez for storing the equipment that is
needed to make this project successful year after year.
Another
special thanks to the Boy Scouts of America and their park
ranger, Jack. He arranged for the gate to be open and to check on the storage
unit that the fish food is stored in.
