**Election of Officers of the Board

By Law clarification Article II Management, Section 8, The Board of Directors shall maintain from the membership a group of three (3) Alternate Directors. Replacement Alternate Directors shall be filled by the Board from volunteers of the membership as needed to maintain three (3) alternate directors. A list shall be maintained to enable those who first volunteered to be first available to become an alternate director. Alternate directors are encouraged to attend the meetings of the Board of Directors. Each alternate director shall be asked if they want to continue their alternate position each year.

Article III. Duties of Officers, Directors, and Alternates, Section 5, Alternate directors shall attend Board of directors meetings and shall function as a voting non-officer of the Board in the absence of any Director, to enable a quorum. May become board member if position becomes available and as agreed by the Board.
